Sticky Chai

This week we’ve decided to share a heartwarming drink recipe, that you can enjoy while snuggled up on the sofa on these wintery evenings.

We’ve given you enough mix to get you all through the season, don’t forget to tag us if you try making it at home!

Sticky Chai

·        100g ground cinnamon

·        60g ground ginger

·        20g earl grey tea leaves

·        20g whole cloves

·        20g fennel seeds

·        20g ground cardamom 

Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor, and whizz on a high speed until you have finely milled powder. Place in an air-tight container and store for up to 1 year in a cool dry location.

To make 1 drink

·        2 tsp chai mix

·        1 tsp agave syrup (or other sweetener of your choice)

·        1 tbsp boiling water

·        250ml hot milk (we like using oat milk)

Add the chai mix, agave and water to a small saucepan and thoroughly mix together with a teaspoon. Add your milk to the pan and gently bring up the heat. Just before the mix boils, remove from the heat and pass through a strainer into your favourite mug.
